Walking up that hill across those harvested fields, was like talking to them. I was there watching as my friends were trying to capture em through their lenses.
It was once plush with the crop.. life buzzing on it. But now after the harvesting, it just looked lonely. I dont know for how many days and how many nights. Destiny as it was, it had visitors that one day. I was a stranger to that field but I thought I was being a friend to it just by standing there for at the least that moment. But then I realized that in fact, it was keeping me company and not the other way around. As if it understood that I needed it... even when it knew it would not be enough.
In that half hour I spent there, the few pictures I took were lookin after me. My friends were lookin after me. Some by walking by my side.. and some by being in those pictures.
It has been a couple of days since then.. but when I look at those pictures I know, those friends are right there watching over me.. keeping me company for they know there will be more days like these ahead when I am going to need them.
Would I ever pay a visit again.. I dont know. But if someone asked me if my friends visited me.. I would say.. that they did.. every single time I looked at those pictures.
